Conferon Expands Into Incentives and Training Markets Februarys acquisition of Jackson Marketing Group (JMG) provides Conferon with a strong entré into the training and incentive meetings markets, bringing a whole new dimension to the Conferon menu of services. These services include production, VIP handling, gift ideas & promotional packages, travel, food and beverage management, and website creation. JMG, now Conferons Atlanta office, not only increases Conferons ability to further penetrate the corporate meetings market, but expands its client base in the southeast not-for-profit sector with a focus on business events, sales kickoffs, business meetings, incentives, and board meetings. The offices client list includes AT&T Corporation, Scientific-Atlanta, AT&T Wireless, ADP, and other Fortune 500 companies. Steve Goodman, Regional Vice President and Managing Director, explains why working with Conferon will now be even more beneficial. Corporate event managers will benefit by working with only one contact for all services related to any corporate eventssaving money and maximizing the opportunity for successful events, he says. Conferon also gains the ability to offer JMGs Training Registration System (TRS) and training conference services to its clients. (See page 4 for more detail.) In addition, the acquisition provides a promotions division as a new resource for Conferon clients. The promotions department specializes in employee recognition awards, client gifts, corporate giveaways and incentive promotional items from a selection of over 300,000 promotional items including such product lines as Coach, Movado, Cutter & Buck, Swiss Army, and Fossil. |
