Conferon Training Hits the RoadThe attendee evaluations say it all: Excellent tips. Fun and informative. This type of interactive time is very important and appreciated. Great job. Very thorough. Creative ideas. Thanks for sharing. Great advice. Extremely valuable... These glowing reviews came from the first-ever Conferon Training Roadshow class held in June in Washington, DC. Based on the success of Twinsburg-based training classes, the decision was made to take the show on the road, and bring the training into cities where Conferon has offices and significant customer concentration. Starting in DC, the initial class was attended by 22 association and hotel executives, and was held at the Marriott Crystal Gateway. Conferon presenters included Brad Weaber, Nancy Wise, Laurie Trautner-Black, Amy Henderson, Tina Evans, and Bill Mattes from the DC office, and Karen Watson, Marian Calvin and David Peckinpaugh from the Corporate office in Twinsburg. Topics covered include:
The Marriott Crystal Gateway rolled out the red carpet for the class, using the refreshment breaks and meals to show off their exemplary culinary skills, presentation and fine service. Marriott also provided the audiovisual equipment for the training class. Special thanks are extended as well to Dale Brookshire, Audio Visual Director from the Renaissance Washington DC Hotel, who presented the workshop on Audio Visual & Technology.
By SPECS publication time, the second Roadshow class was just completed in Chicago with over 60 customers and guests in attendance. The next Client Training class is planned for November 15 and 16 in Twinsburg, but classes are being planned in Denver and St. Louis in 2001 as well as return engagements in Chicago and Washington.
