President's Award of Excellence Rarely does someone, much less a company, have the opportunity to show their appreciation to the highest performing employees and at the same time memorialize their contributions. We have been blessed with so many wonderful Conferon representatives and because all of the Conferon family wants to recognize excellence within the company, the President's Award of Excellence was initiated this year. Individuals who perform at only the highest level in all of the following areas can win this award. Award winners...... Demonstrate excellence in their jobs on a regular and continuing basis. Make an extraordinary personal contribution to the success, welfare or earnings of Conferon. Consistently represent Conferon in an ethical, personable, and professional manner with Conferon’s clients and suppliers/vendors. Regularly help other Conferon team members by assisting in training, participating in Conferon functions, and caring for the personal needs and concerns of others. To excel at all of these is a difficult task. Conferon employees nominated a number of highly qualified fellow employees - four of whom were award recipients. We are proud to announce these exceptional employees: Jim Taliak – Sales Manager Jim has served Conferon for 10 years out of our Cleveland office. Nancy Metcalfe – Receptionist Nancy has been the voice of Corporate Conferon for the past 7 years. Denise Cugini – Research Administrator Denise has managed our Research Department for the past 2 years. Karen Watson – Director/Account Planning Since 1997, Karen has brought leadership and consistency to the Account Planning Department. All of us at Conferon are thrilled for Jim, Nancy, Denise, and Karen and we are even more pleased that these wonderful people represent the values, professionalism and caring concern that set Conferon apart from all others.
